Take time for yourself.
Above all, make time for yourself! You can’t accomplish your tasks successfully unless you have enough energy and are mentally sharp. Don’t forget to make time for things that help you de-stress – whether it’s exercising, reading a book, taking a hot bath, spending some time outdoors, or watching an episode of your favorite TV show. Once you’ve recharged, you’ll have more energy and motivation to continue with the things you need to do – and you’ll likely be much better at completing those tasks.
Know what your priorities are and stick to them.
Remember, it’s okay to say no sometimes! Many of us struggle with taking on too many tasks at once, until we collapse under the weight. Figure out what you truly value in life, what’s important to you! If you find yourself stuck on something that really isn’t important to you, it’s time to let it go!
Be efficient, positive, and expect the unexpected
If you are one of those scattered people, it would be helpful to write down at the beginning of each week everything you need to do that week. Make a list of your to-do list and include some time for yourself, your family/friends and some leisure activities. Remember: being refreshed will make you much more productive in the long run! We know this is easier said than done, but think about it: does being nervous help you solve problems? If you notice yourself worrying, take a step back, make sure you’ve done everything you can, and then try to let it go.
