3 New Year’s Resolutions for a Healthy Lifestyle

The first week of the year has passed, and many of you are probably still thinking about what goals you could join the Healthy Lifestyle Movement with. If you recognize yourself, that’s okay, in fact! We usually fall into overly ambitious plans, so plan wisely and move forward in small but sure steps with resolutions that you can keep throughout the year.

We have collected some inspiring tips for you, with which this year may be the healthiest year of your life.

Cook and eat more

Spending a little more time in the kitchen this year will not only save you money, but you’ll also know exactly what’s on your plate. Eat more fresh, healthy foods (fish, nuts, vegetables, and fresh fruits), but don’t completely deprive yourself of the others.

Go to bed earlier

You may not be able to get 8 hours of sleep every night, but at least go to bed 15 minutes earlier than usual, and then slowly increase that time. If you typically go to bed at midnight, you probably won’t be able to fall asleep right away at 10.

Walk more

Walking – even if you only have a few minutes – will clear your head and improve your well-being. Spending time in the fresh air helps you find yourself again, and it has more beneficial effects than many other sports. Even 500 extra steps taken in 5 days have a lot of beneficial effects. Jump up from the table at lunchtime or walk one bus stop more every day. Believe me, you will feel much fresher in no time.
